Happy Friday! Hope you guys have had the best week! Around the Schwartz house we are getting so excited for warm weather, spring and all the fun holidays that come with the new season! I made this “Leprechaun Bait” chex mix for a happy hour we are hosting with our family tonight and I know it’s going to be a huge hit with all the kiddos! I’m also linking up some fun St. Patty’s day outfits for the family + green kitchenware at the bottom. If you make this recipe, tag me in your pictures, I’d love to see it! Without further ado, here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Chex Cereal
- 4 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
- 1 cup crushed pretzels (I used the Buttersnap variety)
- 1 14oz bag white chocolate chips (I found this super fun Funfetti kind but any will work)
- 1 cup skittles
- 1 cup airhead rainbow candies
- 2 cups rainbow marshmallows
- Rainbow sprinkles, for topping
Instructions:
- Mix together the Chex, Lucky Charms and pretzels
- Pour white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until chocolate is fully melted
- Add melted chocolate into the cereal mixture and stir
- Pour in the candies and sprinkles, then stir together
- Spread the mix onto parchment paper and let milk chocolate dry
- Once dry, pour into your favorite serving bowl and enjoy!
