A Day at Atlanta Apparel Market
Hi friends! I hope y’all are having a great week so far! Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Atlanta Apparel market and speaking on an influencer panel with some of my favorite ladies. Pictured from left to right is Mirelle (@city.peach), Brooke (@kbstyled), and Lauren (@laurenlefevre). Each of these girl’s are true girl bosses in their own way, and it was definitely a career highlight getting to speak alongside of them. I’ve followed them all since the beginning of my blogging career, and am so thankful to be able to call them friends today!

If you haven’t heard of Atlanta Apparel Market, it is where boutique owners and exhibitors from across the country visit to purchase wholesale items for their boutiques. In addition to wholesale items, there is also a ‘carry floor’ in which the everyday person can visit to purchase items at great prices. We had the pleasure of visiting this floor after our panel. I loveddd shopping at Golden Stella for some amazing wholesale jewelry finds. If you’re local, I definitely recommend making a stop and checking it out!
What was the influencer panel about?
During our panel, we spoke to several boutique owners about ways in which they can market themselves through technology and grow the reach of their audience. More specifically we discussed their marketing efforts through the use of influencers. Because influencer marketing is a completely new industry that is only recently becoming popular, many boutiques are unsure how to get started and the ‘appropriate’ ways of working with bloggers/influencers.
We were able to provide several examples of how boutiques are successfully using technology and bloggers to market themselves through the use of tryon sessions, styling Instagram posts, etc. In addition, we discussed new ways moving forward that they can consider for expanded reach such as capsule collections, influencer trips, etc. If you’re a boutique and curious about how you can expand your marketing efforts with influencers, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us for more information. Following the panel, I had the pleasure to chat with several readers that were visiting market either as local shoppers or boutique owners. I had a blast getting to know each and every one of you. Spring Trends
In addition to chatting with boutiques about how to market themselves through technology, each of us also discussed the Spring trends we are expect to be hits this upcoming season. Those mentioned include blush colors and pastels, feminine prints (such as the leopard blouse I am wearing), and beautiful textures such as silk, lace and embroidery. I’ll be sharing more posts in the coming month on all my favorite Spring trends to be on the lookout for, so stay tuned!
