I wore this metallic jumpsuit for New Years Eve this past weekend, and it is definitely my all-time favorite NYE look I’ve ever worn. I realize it is not your everyday outfit look, but I received SO many compliments because the look is so unique and different from the average NYE sequin dress so I wanted to share it with you. The neckline and side cutouts of this jumpsuit were so flattering, and I felt like this jumpsuit actually elongated my body rather than shortening it. I generally have a really hard time pulling off jumpsuits due to my height (5’5″), but this one was perfect for the height deficient shorties like me. 🙂
I knew I wanted to do a dark burgundy lip (color is called exorcism), so I chose to pair the look with burgundy accessories: a faux fur wrap and glitter clutch. The makeup look I am wearing is the same from my NYE makeup tutorial I posted last week. The only thing I changed was the glitter eyeshadow color (color is slate), and I added some glitter eyeliner (this silver one is my favorite) in my eye duct. It was perfect for this flashy jumpsuit! Check out the makeup tutorial HERE.
I had an amazing time celebrating New Years Eve with my in laws. We took a trip to short trip to Charleston for the weekend to attend the Yorktown Countdown. It is a fancy party on the famous Yorktown battleship in Charleston. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done on NYE. I felt like someone out of the 40s getting glam on an old vintage warship. We even got to see all the WWII planes on the interior flight deck. I was in awe, especially since my all-time favorite movie is Pearl Harbor. I begged Drew to take a picture with me in front of one of the planes. Check it out below!
What did you all do for NYE!? We generally do something more low-key like a house party, but it is nice to change it up and dress up from time-to-time. Hope you had an amazing time bringing in 2017!
Thanks for stopping by.
