This floral maxi dress was my favorite outfit of our entire trip to France! I knew it would be perfect against a backdrop of lavender fields, which I knew I was guaranteed to find while in Provence. We took these photos while visiting the Senanque Abbey, which is famous for it’s gorgeous lavender fields that line the front of the monastery. Monks live in the Senanque Abbey and they grow lavender and tend honey bees for their livelihood. Speaking of bees, the lavender is covered with them. Drew is extremely allergic and I was a terrible wife and asked him to take these photos of me. He threatened his life to take these photos and I am eternally grateful. I think it was worth it, don’t you? 🙂 🙂
This dress sold out verrrryyyy quickly. I feel like as soon as I go to post photos the items are always sold out already. #bloggerproblems. It’s for good reason though because this dress made me feel like a Greek goddess while wearing it. As a solution, I’ve tagged another dress in the same pattern as well as a couple similar off-the-shoulder maxi dresses for you in the “shop this post” widget below.
Drew and I returned from France around 4pm last night and immediately went to pick up Lola and Henry. It was so good to see them after 9 lonngggg days without them. I think we are nearly recovered from our trip. I went to sleep at 7pm last night and woke up at 7am this morning, so I definitely think that helped. Last week I posted the 4 simple steps to avoiding jet lag while traveling. If you have jet lag problems like I’ve had in the past, I definitely recommend you check out the post. I think it’s the only reason I’m still standing on 2 feet today!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
